Matahari – Toronto

I just touched down in Toronto for the Female Eye Film Festival. I produced this short for Carleen Kyle, the Crazy8s winner “The Weather Girl”. Hungry, my aunt and uncle took me to Matahari.

The mango chicken was delicious, though I was chowing down on the lamb. The meat was moist, perfectly spiced – not too spicy for those who do not like super spicy Indian food – and beautifully presented. I could barely finish this serving with my uncle and aunt, and we ordered three dishes only. We tried our best to finish it all, as we didn’t want to take it home.

We had a coconut crepe for dessert. The coconut was toasted and crunchy, but melted in your mouth with the vanilla ice cream served with it.

Great service, excellent food.
