The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver will be opening it’s Roof Pop-up restaurant in mid-February for a limited engagement through till October. There is a lot of history behind the restaurant which was the place to be for the movers and shakers in the 40s and beyond.
Chef Cameron Ballendine, the newly appointed Executive Chef of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver has returned to his home province of BC after years of expertise and success overseas.
While the menu has yet to be unveiled, they have their Valentines Day Menu up. We had a sneak preview a couple days ago with delicious canapés and fantastic drinks served at their sunken bar.
The pop up Roof restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner daily. You can make reservations at 604-662-1900 and more information can be found on their website. I am looking forward to dining here when it’s fully opened and indulging in the old Hollywood-style glamour that is it’s legacy!
