Brunch with the family happens spontaneously because I can’t really say we’re ‘brunch’ people. We’re more dim sum or breakfast or lunch people. But when it does happen, as I said, it happens on a whim and that was the case today.

Today I had the Eggs Benedict and decided to switch it up to have some fresh fruit alongside it. The benny was good in size and in taste. The hollandaise sauce wasn’t as creamy as I like it to be, but had good flavour. I felt the ham was a little dry but most places have this problem. The fruits was a good portion and helped balance the ‘unhealthiness’ of the benny. The meal was satisfying and didn’t leave me feeling overstuffed.
