It’s no April Fools joke: Reflections, Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s beautiful (and one of Vancouver’s best kept secrets) will be re-opening for the season on April 1st with a new cocktail and dining menu! If you haven’t been, the Restaurant is gorgeous, boasting cabanas and the beautiful Vancouver skyline.

The new, locally inspired menu is being led by Head Chef Ken Nakano. The culinary team behind Reflections has created a Spanish-inspired but locally sourced tapas menu. This includes: Oyama’s Spicy Chorizo with Fennel and Salt Spring Island Mussels, Green Pea Croquetas with Mint Yougurt and the Chef’s special grilled We Wai Kai Scallops with Arugula and Romesco. For you cocktail enthusiasts – new, original cocktails like the South Side and Mexican Fix will complement the delicious bites on the menu! Their Hotel Georgia cocktail which was named Cocktail of the Year in 2012 by enRoute Magazine will also be present on the menu again this year. They will also offer a carefully curated wine list with both international and local wineries.

Apparently, it was very popular to have proposals take place within the last year – which gave the Rosewood Hotel Georgia an idea – why not help create a fantastic Proposal Package for those popping the big question! The package includes a private cabana filled with rose petals, champagne, chocolates and an option to add an overnight stay with breakfast in bed. This sounds like such a wonderful idea – I would die to stay at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia (hint hint, dear husband)! And to make it even more fantastic, all couples who get engaged at Reflections will have the opportunity to win a FREE wedding at the hotel! And for all of you that have had your wedding already- you know how costly a wedding can be! The prize is a 80 person wedding at the Spanish Ballroom (if you’re not into it, you can opt to host your engagement party or stag/stagette party instead – which is just as fabulous!).

Reflections will be open daily from noon until late. You can make reservations at 604-673-7043. All menus and more information on the Proposal Package can be found at their website,!
