Faubourg has some new treats available this weekend just in time for Father’s Day. Head pastry chef Ricardo Rosas dreamed up the Dark Chocolate and Stout macarons made with creamy stout beer and 70% couverture chocolate from Cacao Barry.
For a more interesting twist, head bakery chef Melanie Legoupil created a Cheddar & Stout pain that is available throughout the month of June that is sure to be a crowd pleaser for dad’s and beer fiends alike.
As you know, Faubourg is one of my favourite places in the city – particularly for their pain au chocolat and pistachio croissants, so if you do decide to treat dad here – or treat yourself – be sure to pick up some of these for yourself!
