A must when on the island of Maui, Leoda’s serves up delicious pies – but they also have a great menu that includes sandwiches, salads and other baked goods. I wouldn’t say Leoda’s would be hard to find, but we did accidentally drive past it as we were going down Honoapi’ilani Highway. We had to double back – but it was worth the effort!

Their pies are made in two sizes – so we decided to grab the 3” ones so we could try a couple. Brian went with the ever popular Banana Cream Pie and I went with the Macadamia Chocolate Praline Pie. Both were fantastic – as a chocolate lover, I really enjoyed the mac praline – the filling was sinful and delicious. However, the Banana Cream pie is where it’s at. Freshly made when we arrived, by far the best pie I’ve ever experienced. The filling is airy but creamy and the crust gave it a nice, flavourful crunch.

I’d definitely recommend checking them out if you’re on the island!
