They offer a formidable beer menu but serve some great wines and cocktails as well.
We started off with their Mezze Plate ($13) which includes white bean and green olive dip, house made rosemary garlic flatbread, goat feta, olives and caponata. Loved all flavours and textures on the dish – also a good amount for two people to share.
Mary ordered a dark and stormy ($8.25). It’s made with house ginger syrup, dark rum, fresh lime and soda. They are very heavy handed here with their drinks, so you definitely get your money’s worth!
I ordered the Pork Belly Sandwich ($14) – served with beer braised onions, jalapeño slaw and fries. A nicely put together sandwich that had tender pork belly between buns (teehee) that stood up to it’s greasiness.
Mary ordered the Seared Albacore Tuna ($18) which looked good.
For dessert, we shared the chocolate and blood orange bread pudding. A nice, sweet ending to a great meal.
