While I was travelling in San Fransisco, I was walking along the Embarcadero. I was tired and hungry from a rough flight and sleep in my hostel. After napping on a bench by the sea, I wandered inside the Ferry Building to find Blue Bottle Coffee. I wondered why there was a long line-up, but I soon discovered why.
Their coffee is amazing. I have not had such a thick, velvety cup of coffee anywhere like this in Vancouver. Their espresso has a slight sweet undertone that still gives you an earthy, smooth kick through the milk. I had a cappuccino. I lament at the burnt or thin foam Starbucks or Blenz serves. But the foam here was light, aerie and smooth. Delicious!
5/5! I understand why there was a long line up!
