Cafe Kathmandu on Commercial Drive is holding a fundraiser dinner for the Nepal Earthquake. 100% of the proceeds will go to charity. They are hosting two dinner events on Thursday, April 30th and Thursday, May 7th at 4:30pm-late. The proceeds will go to the Canadian Red Cross and Educate the Children.
The dishes are not stated yet, but it will be a set menu with two options- one will be vegetarian and vegan for $20 per person. It is first come, first serve, no reservations. If you aren’t sure you can make it, you can also donate to the restaurant.
The team at Gastrofork will try our best to come out to this event. We support local businesses who step in to help global events. Eating to help out is also a bonus!
