The 5 burgers include:
1) Truffled Mushroom Bigger Burger
2) Steakhouse Supreme Bigger Burger
3) Crispy Almond Chicken Burger
4) Johnstone Strait Salmon Burger
5) Sriracha Goat Cheese Turkey Burger
The last two are the newest to their lineup and the others have been favourites they have brought back.
Brian and I decided to try the Crispy Almond Chicken burger and Steakhouse Supreme bigger burger.
The Crispy Almond chicken burger was fantastic. It’s breaded really well so that it’s crispy and crunchy batterside but extremely tender in the middle. To give it even more crunch, they add the almonds. The burger is topped with sweet and sour sauce and a lemon cilantro mayo. It gives it a nice, sweet yet clean taste with a lot of crunch!
Brian ordered the Steakhouse Supreme Bigger Burger which is 6 ounces of 100% Canadian beef in a red wine BBQ sauce, horseradish cheddar, haystack onions, arugula, tomato and arugula aioli. There was definitely a sweet and smokey taste to this burger and the deep fried onions really gave it more crunch and flavour.
