The good people at Boodles sent me a bottle of their gin to try out. Since I’ve only really begun my journey in the world of gin, I took this opportunity to do what most do when trying it for the first time – mix it!

Boodls Gin is a perfectly balanced London Dry Gin, made from English winter wheat, distilled in Cheshire, bottled in Essex and packaged in a Scottish glass. What I like about Boodles is that it doesn’t have too much of a botanical taste to it – just a nice hint of it. The first time I had gin, I felt that the flavour was overwhelming for my newbie palate. This one is much more approachable and works well when you’re mixing.
