When it comes to a good, greasy start to your day in Whistler, there’s nothing more on the nose than Southside Diner. What I enjoy about this place is it’s very relaxed, service is very real here – no overbearing servers asking how you’re doing. Just a nice diner to hit up, have a conversation with your server (or not).
I ordered the South Side Slam ($13.29). It was everything you could possibly ask for at a diner – eggs, hash, pancakes and I asked for bacon (it can come with sausage). I was tempted to get another menu item called the Big Ass Pancake – but I guess it’ll have to wait till next time!
I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable place to eat.
