Nestled in Edgemont Village on the north shore, Bjorn Bar offers a ridiculous amount of bars, pastries, lunch fare and more. Everything on display looks absolutely delightful, it’s hard to pick one (or in our case 6) to try. That being said, it definitely is a spot I’d like to revisit again.
One of my favourites is their marshmallow cookie sandwiches – a fluffy treat with crisp chocolate chip cookies.

I tried their date bar and nanaimo bar as well. The date bar is great, not too sweet and on the softer side than most of the other date bars I’ve had before. The nanaimo bar is good too, great coconut flavour, creamy filling and not too sweet chocolate topping.
I had their pasta salad and it was good flavourwise for the most part, I think it needed a bit of olive oil as it felt a little dry for me.
I tried one of their sandwiches, I forgot which one it was but it had chicken and caramelized onions. It was delicious and I’d definitely go back to try another one of their sandwiches.
Finally to wash it all down, I had a mocha. I’m so glad that their mochas were not too sweet and had a great taste of chocolate without being too bitter either.
I would definitely recommend visiting this if you’re in the area, checking out Capilano Suspension Bridge or the Cleveland Dam or visiting Edgemont Village!
