Dine Out Vancouver is back again in it’s 15th year. The festival takes place around the city starting January 20 until February 5.
Besides the $20, $30 and $40 fare, there is also events that highlight the best Vancouver has to offer: cocktail master classes, brunch crawls and fun World Chef Exchange dinners – check out more information here.
Here are some places that caught my eye while I was perusing the Menus and offerings this year, sorted by price point. Many of these places’ menus caught my eye for being not your typical DOV fare, and some just for the deal and atmosphere. You can check out menus and more information on the website here. $20 Menus:
Blackbird Public House & Oyster Bar
Chicken. and. waffles.
Cannibal Cafe
Their unique menu caught my eye! I’d definitely like to check this place out.
Timber
Timber is sister restaurant to forage, I’d love to check it out soon!
$30 Menus:
Chicha
I had such a great experience here last year, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.
Cuchillo
This place is on my to eat list!
Fable
Fable is always a solid choice.
Feast
Feast is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant in West Vancouver, the hospitality is great.
Forage
There’s always something new and exciting at Forage.
Maenam
I love Maenam. The flavours are bright, the atmosphere is fancy but still casual and one of my favourite spots in the city.

Anna Lena
I’d love to check out this place soon!
Boulevard
Seafood and all of the above!
Cacao
Another on my to-try radar.
Chambar
Chambar is a must in DOV, brunch and any other times (ie, excuses) I can find to dine here.
Homer Street Cafe
This lovely cafe is beautifully appointed with a solid menu.
L’Abbattoir
Another must for DOV.
Notch8
I was blown away recently by how wonderful the interior design is here. I’d definitely like to check it out during DOV.
Royal Dinette
One of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time, I’d love to come and try Royal Dinette during their dinner service.
Tableau
They rock my brunch world, but again, I’d love to try their dinner service as well.
West
One of the best places in the city, if you can get a reservation here during busy DOV season, you’re lucky!
