Last week, an interesting twist of food and art came into play at the pop-up Edible Museum at the Permanent. We were invited to go check it out.

With the goal of producing a multi-sensory event, the design team Here There Studio took inspiration from Canadian contributions to the food industry throughout history.

The two-floor exhibit included traditional Okanagan Nation pit-houses, a sugar shack from Quebec and a post war kitchen. The exhibition aims to inform guests on how it has evolved throughout Canada’s history.
