Brian came to me and asked, “Have you heard of the Super Stack burger?” – I had not and I was curious as to what it was about.
Basically this burger is the Triple O’s sauce, onion ring, naturally smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, a fried egg, Canadian beef and lettuce and tomato. Triple O’s (and White Spot in general) always has some decent burgers (I’m a big fan of their BC Chicken burger), and so I was game to try it out.
Was it a SuperStack? I’d say yes. When I unwrapped the burger, it could barely stay in place. I cut it in half so you could see a cross section of the burger.
In terms of taste, it was a pretty damn good burger. The onion ring at the top gave it a nice crunch initially and the bacon and lettuce also made for a bit of crunch. The egg gave this burger more weight to it – I would love to see the egg a bit more runny. I know it would be a total mess to eat, but runny yolks are my thing.
I also want to mention how well the buns stood up to the ingredients inside of it, the worst thing that can happen when enjoying a stacked burger is when the bun disintegrates – but Triple O’s has their bun game down pat.
The SuperStack is only around for a limited time, so if you do want to check out , you should do so sooner than later!
