On our recent friendship trip, Diana and I stopped at Salted Brick for lunch. We were a little late as the drive up was longer than we expected, but Salted Brick offers happy hour. The happy hour included buck-a-shuck oysters.
The oysters were the same type of oysters but with varying amounts of meat in each shell. They were pretty clean, fresh and didn’t have any silt to them when we ate them. They were pretty good for the price!
We also shared the half charcuterie, half cheese board ($16). The board comes with pickled vegetables as well that they pickle in house. Everything at Salted Brick is sourced locally, so it’s great to experience the delicious cheese and charcuterie BC has to offer.
Finally, we shared a beef brisket sandwich ($16), made with local bread and brisket that’s made in-house. The amount of brisket is generous and they crisp the ends for an interesting texture throughout the sandwich.
Salted Brick is one of the places I recommend to people who go up to Kelowna, so go check it out if you’re in the area!
