I was in Olympic Village running some errands recently when I stumbled across The Juice Truck’s brick and mortar location. It’s in the middle of many of the industrial businesses, but the contrast when you walk in differentiates it from the cement buildings. It’s bright, welcoming and full of natural light from all the windows.

I wanted something sweet (when do I not want something sweet to be honest though!) but healthy. While there were a couple juices that caught my eye, The Blueberry Match sold me.

The Blueberry Matcha ($8.50) is made with blueberries, banana, matcha powder, medjool date, cinnamon, vanilla and almond milk. I’m allergic to bananas, so they suggested I go with avocado to replace the banana.

The smoothie is delicious, it’s not too sweet but perfect to satisfy my sweet tooth. I’m highly appreciative they had an alternative for me! As much as I love to enjoy smoothies, being allergic to bananas really limit what I can have.

If you havent checked out The Juice Truck yet, I suggest you do! They serve up some delicious juices and smoothies.
