West Coast’s largest Germanic-inspired cultural harvest festival that will welcome 1500 revelers including keg tapping, live Bavarian music and lots of fun games and eats.

Fright Nights at Playland

Ever wanted to roam Playland in October with freaky people chasing you around and checking out 8 haunted houses and 20 rides? Good, me neither. 😛

Halloween Expo

Where: UBC Robson Square

This 4 day festival features arts, performances, costumes, comics and more.

Stanley Park Ghost Train 

Where: Stanley Park
When: Oct 13-31
Price: $12 adults (19-64), $9 seniors (65+), youth (13-18), $8 kids (3-12), Free kids 2 and under, $6 Matinee train (all ages)
All aboard the ghoul train! This year the theme is Alien Invasion.

Apple Festival 

Where: UBC Botanical Garden

This fundraising event features entertainment, crafts, activities for kids and of course food!

Slow Fish Canada Dinner 

Where: Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts
When: October 15, 6-9pm

Raising awareness for Slow Fish Canada (a Slow Food initiative) and protecting our oceans, join Vancouver’s brightest chefs through a tasting of local and sustainable seafood delicacies.
