To kick off our weekend at Whistler Cornucopia 2017, we headed to Cellar Door Grand Tasting. Held at the Whistler Conference Centre, it was a great space to learn about fine wines that are considered top-shelf ($35 and up).

The event was intimate enough that you could chat with the winemakers and ask them questions without feeling rushed.

Taste Whistler offered Sommelier Tours, where their Sommeliers would take you around the room and give you an inside scoop on the wine featured at the event.

Overall, this was a great way to learn more about some of the wines you may have been curious about. When I walk through the liquor store, I always wonder about different types of wines and what they taste like and events like these are a great introduction to many of them!
