On a recent trip to Toronto, I stayed at One King West. The lobby is bustling with bars and stairs leading down to what was once an old safe and the PATH. When you check in, there’s a separate area that leads you to your hotel room. There are two sets of elevators – “heritage” and normal, modern ones.

Our suite had a balcony and I think we were the only ones with a balcony (on our side anyway).
One King West is located in the sports/entertainment district of Toronto – it’s about a block away from the Hockey Hall of Fame, 10 minute walk to St. Lawrence Market, Yonge and Dundas and Air Canada Centre.
The room we had was 503 – it had high ceilings and large windows to let in a lot of light. The space is almost L shaped, with the washroom and a small kitchenette that included a fridge, microwave, utensils and bar sink.
The main area of the room held a king sized bed, a desk and flat screen tv. You can also step out into your balcony!
The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep on it. The room was pretty clean and the price point was affordable during our stay. I would stay here again.
