He suggested we go to Cibo for brunch. This Italian restaurant serves a BUFFET brunch and it’s not your regular run of the mill buffet.
First of all, the space is really nice, long seating in a warm, wood environment. There is a lot to choose from: different sorts of breads, anti pasto, pastas, a complete dessert table, waffle station, a dedicated cheesecake area, sandwiches, seafood and an area for made-to-order items like pasta, roasts and salads.
The brunch costs $35 and is worth every penny. The food was well done and there was always plenty of food to come back to. It didn’t feel like one of those massive buffets that feel neglected or items are pumped out. The food here is made well, tastes great and there is a great variety of Italian dishes for everyone to enjoy.
I got to try a bit of everything from each station, and I thought all the food was consistently well done. All the hot food was hot and all the cold food was cold. Every item made fresh is made by a friendly face and are willing to substitute items for you if you’re allergic to something (or on a particular diet).
I would definitely recommend checking it out! They only have it on Sundays and it’s best to make reservations.
