Wild Wood Pacific Bistro was originally located at the Whistler Racket Club until they moved over to the Crystal Lodge in December 2014.
Wild Wood has won Whistler’s best breakfast – as it’s known for its bennies since 2012. You can enjoy breakfast until 3pm for those late risers or those looking for a brunch option.
If you’re feeling indecisive and want a big meal to start the rest of your day before you hit the slopes, you can try the Benny Sampler. This comes with 3 full sized bennies of your choosing.
We tried the Asparagus and Portobello mushroom, Natural and Crab. The Asparagus and Portobello was the most interesting because you don’t see this pairing too often. I found it was hearty enough that I didn’t miss any meat in it.
The Natural Benny is made with fresh avocado and tomato. The tomato was surprisingly sweet and the avocado gave the benny a nice weight to it.
The Crab Benny is made with Pacific snow crab meat and we enjoyed this one as it’s nice and meaty.
There are many options for bennies here, most of the options are heartier and heavier – perfect for those hitting the mountain doing sports (or for a hungry foodie).
