Blenz Coffee is now serving up Tumeric Lattes at their locations. Tumeric is considered a super food, but it’s been around (particularly in South East Asia) for a very long time. Tumeric is commonly used in cooking and in some Eastern medicines.
The latte is made with turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and black pepper. While these spices and herbs might sound very powerful, the latte itself is quite balanced and not too overpowering. The latte is also organic, vegan, caffeine and sugar-free.
When we were trying it out, Nathalie had a great idea to give it a good boost (especially if you need your caffeine fix) – try mixing the Tumeric latte with a pump of Chai to give it a nice, warm flavour and kick to it!
