One afternoon, I made it my mission to visit and take a little time away from being at home all day. I tried the Mochi Red Bean Matcha Melon Pan and their Yuzunade.
The Melon Pan is similar to a pineapple bun in the way that it’s crispy on top and softer inside. This particular pan had Mochi and red bean in the middle. They have several other types as well (chocolate, matcha, etc). The pan is lovely- not too sweet and the perfect amount of red bean to give it more texture and flavour. The mochi is a nice addition, the chewiness gives the pan another layer of texture.
The Yuzunade is so cool, it’s a great twist on the traditional lemonade and it slightly sweet but nice and tart – perfect for the hot day when I was there.
Baker and Table also have cakes, espresso drinks and baked goods as well. If you’re in the area, it’s a great spot to visit!
