As you all know, I’m a huge fan of the holidays and we really do it up in my household. It’s been a part of my life ever since I was a kid and my dad would go all out with the Christmas decorations! I love entertaining during the holidays and this year is no different. I like to keep my parties pretty easy when it comes to food and games. I’m all about creating a beautiful holiday board that looks like a million bucks but really was put together for less than $50.

One of my favourite things to add to my boards are dips – I love using Sabra hummus- especially their roasted garlic and red pepper. If you’re a fan of garlic, you’ll want to try their roasted garlic hummus – it’s a garlic lover’s dream! I was intrigued by this limited edition flavour they had: Sweet and Smokey BBQ. It’s made with jackfruit and smoked paprika. It had a great hint of sweetness and smokey flavours. While I was there, I also noticed they had a super spicy hummus dip – I’ll definitely need to try it out next.

I build my boards pretty much the same way: meats, cheeses, dips, carbs, antipasto and some fresh fruits and veggies. I feel this way there’s something for everyone and every diet.

For these boards I used:
-Sabra Sweet & Smoky BBQ Hummus (limited edition- it might be a bit hard to find!)
-Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus
-Pita bread cut into wedges
-Cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots
-Pomegranate, Persimmons, red and green grapes, clementine oranges
-Cheese
-Italian sliced meats
-Green pimento olives, black olives, capers, roasted red peppers

I also jazzed up my board with some rosemary – which not only smells lovely but also looks pretty festive!

What are some must-haves on your entertaining board?
