Whether you’re watching the big game this weekend, puppy bowl or just having guests over, the easiest way to please the crowd is to make a board filled with all kinds of good treats.
I love getting creative and throwing different things on the board, but one of my staples is the Sabra hummus – I love the roasted garlic (but I recently tried the Supremely Spicy Hummus and it is so good!). Sabra hummus is Vegan, Kosher, Gluten-Free and is made with non-GMO ingredients. Normally, I buy the bigger size and spread it on toast, on my burgers and sometimes I make pizza with the hummus as a base (try it – especially the roasted garlic, it’s a game changer).
Having a couple of the guys over to watch the big game means big appetites – but because I have a sweet tooth, I also balance out the board with some goodies as well.
To make this platter, I used:
1) Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus (try the Supremely Spicy Hummus if you can handle a little bit of heat)
2) Veggies – celery, baby carrots
3) Pita bread
4) Aged cheddar cheese cut into bite sized pieces
5) Turkey Pepperoni cut into thirds
6) Honey Roasted Peanuts
7) Dark Chocolate with Almond
8) Buttered Popcorn
9) Yogurt Dipped Pretzels
10) Smarties
11) Gummy Bears
12) Sour Cream and Onion Chips
13) Popcorn Chicken / Mini Nuggets
14) Trail Mix
15) Beef Jerky
16) Salted Pretzels
The balance of sweet, salty and savoury is a good variety for everyone to nosh on. With Sabra’s Roasted Garlic Hummus you can dip everything from the pita, veggies, chips, chicken, pretzels…I wouldn’t even judge you if you dipped some of the yogurt pretzels in it.
I’ve teamed up with Sabra to give you the chance to try some of their products out! I will pick two winners and send a coupon redeemable for any Sabra product. Check out the details of the giveaway below – it ends on Sunday, February 3 and I will announce the winner February 4th. Congratulations Rebecca and Alex!
