Situated in a sleepy part of Richmond, I enjoyed a Maiko Special. They have hojicha ice cream instead of vanilla ice cream for the next two weeks. The special is both matcha and hojicha cream together along with matcha chiffon, chestnuts, and shiratama mochi. Cafe Maiko opened its first store in Hawaii and their products are imported straight from Uji, Japan. I would rate their parfait 5/5 and will be back again because their matcha is very good. I hope they keep the hojicha ice cream around.
