I’m trying to find ways to keep energized and give myself some nutrients I know I’ve been lacking since I’ve been eating a lot of take out being home 24/7 now. The Juice Truck provides this with their delicious smoothies, juices and bowls.
I’m obsessed right now with their Almost Chocolate smoothie made with Banana, medjool dates, almond butter, raw cacao, raw maca and almond milk – but I get it modified since I’m allergic to bananas – they usually offer avocado, blueberries or strawberries. My favourite is when they mix in blueberries. So. Good. It almost feels like you’re having a milkshake when really, you’re having something better for your body overall.
I also ordered their “The Green” cold pressed juice which is a mix of cucumber, kale, spinach, parsley, celery and lime. I usually drink this at the beginning of my day to get me going for a day of chasing an almost-two-year-old around and trying to do work in between that time.
I’m interested in doing their juice cleanse, but I’ll probably try it later on in the year when I’m a bit more settled into working from home.
I love the Juice Truck and their flavours are always delicious. I was never that big a fan of juices and smoothies (mostly because many smoothies include banana and I never found any juices that had a good flavour to them) – so I’m glad to finally find a place that has tasty juices and smoothies that I can enjoy.
