I was given the opportunity recently to check out the latest kits from Rocky Mountain Flatbread: their Frying Pan Pizza Kits.

What I love about Rocky Mountain is that they are mindful of healthy options. That being said, these kits can also cater to certain sensitivities including gluten wise and vegan.

Each Frying Pan Pizza Kit contains two servings (2, 10″ pizzas) that include fresh local ingredients from the restaurant’s kitchens. It’s super simple to follow the instructions they provide in the kit – you basically assemble the pizza while it’s cooking in a frying pan and then finish it off under the broiler for a forno-fired taste.

There are several kits available:

  • Margherita Frying Pan Pizza Kit
  • Kids Frying Pan Pizza Kit
  • Cosmonaut Cocktail Kit

$1 from each pizza kit will be donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank when ordered from Main Street and Kitsilano.

The Margherita Frying Pan Pizza Kit includes double fermented organic dough, house made tomato sauce, Canadian cheeses and fresh basil. The kit itself costs $26 and is perfect for 2 people. You can add Chorizo or Beyond vegan sausage for an extra $4 or make it gluten wise for $6. Note: I added some mushrooms to my pizza because I had some leftover and W loves mushrooms!

The Kids Frying Pan Pizza Kit creates 2 8″ mozza pizzas including organic flour, pizza dough and house made organic tomato sauce and all Canadian shredded mozzarella, plus you get double chocolate brownies for dessert! The kit costs $22 and serves two little ones.

The Cosmonaut Cocktail Kit helps you create the Cosmonaut at home – it is a cross between a Moscow Mule and Cosmopolitan – featuring Rocky’s house made ginger syrup, vodka, dehydrated lime wheels, fresh cranberries, ginger ale and mason jars. This kit creates 2 servings and is $26.
