Red Rooster Winery is introducing a Sauvignon Blanc to their roster, along with a Rosé just in time for the summer!

We got to try both – the Sauvignon Blanc is bright with a nice slight sweet smell that has hints of peaches and grapefruit. When sipping on the wine, you’ll get a slightly medium body that’s smooth and refreshing. We found citrus notes were highlighted.

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc grapes were harvested within Oliver and are limited in production to 1100 cases.

The Rosé has a beautiful tinge of colour to it that at first smell gives you the smells of summer: cherries, melons and the bounty of fruits in the Okanagan. This wine is medium-bodied and smooth and I definitely get notes of cherry and melon in it.

The 2020 Rosé is made from 100% Malbec grapes harvested within the Osoyoos Region and are limited in production to 465 cases.

Both of these wines are excellent for summer eats – think a great Cobb salad, BBQ chicken with corn or even enjoyed on their own.
