Not quite a review but I thought this might be helpful for families staying at BC Children’s. We were in the hospital for a couple days after Winston’s surgery. They make all the food when you order it and you can order between 6:30am-6:30pm. There is a nutritionist you speak to who will help guide you in your choices which is also great as well.

Hospital food has definitely come a long way!

Winston did really well after surgery and his first meal after was his favourite – spaghetti, veggies and banana.

If you’re a parent – there’s a cafeteria in the older building (BC Women’s) that serves up different types of food, a Starbucks below the wards on the main floor and a Second Cup in the older BC Children’s building.
