Tucked away in Pan Pacific Whistler is the Raven Room. The name “The Raven Room” pays homage to the fact that ravens are often found in pairs of two.
We had the potato puffs, Wild BC Salmon Tartare, and Crispy Cauliflower.
The potato puffs were my favourite. They were pillowy soft and had a nice kick with the roasted jalapeño ranch dip. The beef tartare’s maple and black garlic dressing, mixed with fresh herbs, made it hard not to devour this dish in a couple of seconds. I quite liked the beef tartare compared to the Wild BC Salmon Tartare, though they were both solid dishes! The crispy cauliflower’s black garlic teriyaki sauce paired with the spicy emulsion is my favourite part. I would like that emulsion in a jar to have with my chips and veggies please.
