From the people who brought us Potluck Hawker Eatery comes their latest project – Street Hawker. This spot is slingin’ burgers with an Asian twist.
All burgers are freshly ground and never frozen Two River’s beef, the chicken from Farmcrest in Salmon Arm and Oceanwise pacific cod.

What stood out to me was their “Shrimp Mac” ($19.95) – served with two beef patties, shrimp toast mid way, mango mustard, pickled mustard greens, shredded lettuce on a potato roll. This burger was really something – it’s got the crispy edges on the beef patties, that delicious shrimp toast that we’ve come to know and love, mixed with tangy and sweet flavours. The textures from the pickled veggies helped give more crunch to this burger. It’s definitely worth a try.

I also tried the “Turbo Fries” ($9.50) drizzled in cheese sauce, hawt sauce, hawker pickles, pork floss and herbs. The fries were fresh and crispy and help up with the ingredients on it. The mix of flavour was harmonic – I loved the brightness the sauce and pickles offered, along with the cilantro and other herbs. I would definitely order this again.
