La Marca Prosecco hails from the Veneto region of Italy that is quite clean and refreshing to the palate. We paired it with some mango juice, but it’s especially tasty with elderflower liqueur (check out the recipe below).
I made brunch for my family and we like our brunch staples: french toast, breakfast potatoes, breakfast sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs. I love making my french toast with raisin bread, I usually add less sugar and cinnamon to my batter!
Raisin Bread French Toast:
Yield: 6 people
Ingredients:
1 loaf of raisin bread, sliced
6 eggs
1 and 1/3 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar (use less if you’re using raisin bread)
Method:
1. Beat all ingredients (except bread of course) in a large bowl.
2. Heat a pan with oil.
3. Dip the bread into the bowl to soak up mixture.
4. Fry the bread on both sides until golden brown.
5. Serve hot!
