Now, I’m not going to lie, I really do not like going to a Chinese restaurant and eating things that have bones in them. My issue is I am AWFUL at chopsticks (I’m working on it) and I’m more comfortable with a knife and fork maneuvering around bones. Yes, I could ask for a knife and fork but I feel kind of ashamed of asking for it while I’m out with friends or family. So I either struggle along or pass on dishes with bones (sometimes, my dear husband picks out the bones for me. What a champ.).
However at Coco Hut, if you order the single serve chicken – it’s BONELESS. I hear a choir of angels singing for me at this very moment of discovery. Not only that, the chicken is moist, tender and slightly salty (which I love). The rice is made with the chicken juices and have a slight bit of ginger to them (not a big fan of ginger, but this was great).
We also ordered some appetizers (roti and satay), they were good. But not as a good as my Hainanese Chicken! I loved it so much, I had to take Brian here the day after!
