On our last night, we decided to try the little tiki bar we kept passing by. Now, bar food is barely synonomous with good food, but this place wasn’t so bad.

Brian ordered the Loco Moco ($11.95) which is a Hawaiian thing- eggs, angus steak, rice and gravy. He said he felt a heart attack coming on. The portion was fairly huge.

I ordered the Kahlua pork tortilla wrap ($8.75) which was chock full of pork and rice. This wrap couldve easily fed both Brian and I to the point of fullness.

We also ordered their infamous Fish Bowl drink – good for up to 4 people with 3 different types of rum, peach schnapps, blue curacao and lil plastic fishies floating. It came in a fish bowl and two LONG straws (and yes, I did keep the fishbowl and the fish, they’re sitting on my table!). The drink was sweet and not too strong in alcohol taste.

However about 3/4 into the bowl, you’re pretty wasted. The drink is a bit steep in price: $25!! Brian pointed out that our drink cost more expensive than both our dinners combined!

Food:
The portions are huge.

Ambiance:
It’s a bar/Tiki lounge. A bit dark and a bit noisy.

Value:
The food is cheaper than most eats around Waikiki but is it worth it? I can’t say yes.
