Dine Out Vancouver Festival is back for its 21st year. The festival begins January 20 and runs until February 5. You can make reservations now – and they are highly recommended because most popular spots fill up super quick.

As we always do, here are some of our recommendations for this year’s fest!

The Acorn
Price:
$65 (Dinner)/$35-$50 (Brunch)

If you haven’t been to The Acorn, it’s a must! Not only is it a staple on the Vancouver scene, I bet you wouldn’t even know their food was vegetarian/vegan!

Ask For Luigi
Price: $50

Another wonderful Vancouver institution – Ask For Luigi is where you want to take your Italian friends for a meal!

Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar
Price: $65

Always expect a fantastic meal at Boulevard – it’s perfect for a celebration or date night!

Carlino
Price: $65
This lovely Italian restaurant serves up a fusion of new and old world dishes.

Chambar
Price: $65
I don’t think there’s been a time where Chambar was not on my list. My favourite is their mussels, but their Venison meatballs sound amazing too.

CinCin Ristorante + Bar
Price: $55
Love all the flavours that come out of CinCin – it’s the perfect date night spot.

East is East, Chai Lounge
Price: $49
Another one of my favourite spots in the city – if you time your reservation right, you may be in luck to be there during belly dancing night!

Forage
Price: $59
Forage always has an interesting menu and doesn’t follow the pack – I like the creativity that’s gone into it and the flavours in the past have been a perfect marriage!

Maenam
Price: $65
Another consistent recommendation – Maenam has and always will be on this list. Their Thai food is top notch!

Minami
Price: $45
If you’re a fan of Minami or Miku, you know Dine Out provides a great value to explore their menu.

Notch 8
Price: $50
Love Notch8 – the ambiance, the food, the cocktails! Always a must.

Ophelia
Price: $55
I’ve been dying to visit Ophelia and this might be my very reason I will soon!

Pepino’s Spaghetti House
Price: $45
Another Vancouver favourite – their entrees are always solid.

Potluck Hawker Eatery
Price:
$25 (lunch)/ $38
Potluck has consistently flavourful upscaled Asian dishes that I enjoy – even when it’s not Dine Out!

Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co.
Price: $31
Rocky Mountain is one of my favourite neighbourhood restaurants – its family friendly and always a good vibe.

Sula Indian Restaurant
Price: $33
If you’re looking for something a little more upscale when it comes to Indian cuisine, look no further. Their kebabs are my favourite.

Torafuku
Price: $62 – Menu is designed to be shared between 2 people
Another awesome Asian fusion restaurant serving up dishes that sparkle in flavour.

Zarak by Afghan Kitchen

An upscale Afghan/Middle Eastern restaurant that is very popular – make sure you make reservations asap!
