While looking at the menu, I really couldn’t decide what I wanted and all their side dishes and appetizers sounded amazing, so I ordered a couple of them!
I started off with the Caesar Salad ($8) served with pork belly croutons (yep, you read right) and aged parmesan. This caesar salad was perfectly creamy, crunchy and the pork belly croutons were the perfect accompaniment to give this dish some depth.
I also ordered the Seared Chili-Rubbed Skirt Steak ($9) served with matchstick potatoes. The steak was nice and tender in the middle – seared perfectly. It sat next to a huge pile of matchistick potatoes that were addictive to munch at.
Finally, I ordered the Lobster and Prawn Risotto ($9) because I was craving some! The risotto is creamy but not too heavy thanks to small hints of citrus throughout. The lobster and prawn chunks make this dish complete.
Adrian ordered the Baked 4 Cheese Gnocchi ($8) served with a sage and thyme cream sauce.
Also the Jumbo Shortrib Macaroni ($9). Both were so decadent, I could only have a spoonful, I can see them being the bulk of the meal if you were to order them properly as a side.
Liane ordered the Blackened Steelhead Trout ($24) served with autumn vegetable ragu, brown butter bay scallops. Her trout was flaky but not too dry, very enjoyable.
We had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated on a Monday evening, so make sure you allot some time for waiting. Other than that, I will definitely be back for more of their delicious food in the future!
