I think French Made Baking was the very first time I experienced a macaron. It was way back in 2011, the Canucks were in the playoffs and I had won macarons made by Catherine that were of the our Vancouver team’s colours.
Fast forward to today, 2014 – where they have opened shop right at Kingsway and Broadway where they serve more than just macarons now! For me, French Made Baking will always hold a special place as they were the first I’ve ever tried and certainly not the last!
They offer macaron making classes and even croissant classes!
Their selection includes popular flavours like Earl Grey, but also interesting toss ups like Sesame. Whichever macaron you decide to treat yourself with, you definitely cannot go wrong. They are absolutely beautiful and made with love and perfection.
