Motoretta Gelato has finally opened it’s doors this past July 7th. Renowned gelato maker Salvatore Boccarossa brings his fresh take to our city. The MO is fun and unpretentious but delicious gelato. Using local, seasonal ingredients with traditional methods, you’ll find not only delicious gelato but also the granita – a refreshing slush treat served with brioche.
I tried the lemon granita with brioche, so refreshing! I think I may have brioche and gelato more often, love how the bread absorbs the sweet and tart lemon. The dark chocolate dairy free gelato is to die for, I can’t even tell its dairy free. The dairy matcha, and cherry are also favourites of mine. The matcha probably is my favourite flavour!
