On August 9th, Pirate Pak Day was back for it’s 8th consecutive year. $2 from every Pirate Pak goes to the Zajac Ranch for Children, a charity that provides children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses and chronic disabilities a unique summer camp experience.

Being the only time a full size adult (like myself) is allowed a pirate pak and with portions going to a good cause, I always love visiting White Spot that day to help out.

The Adult Pirate Pak includes the Legendary burger, BC Chicken, Bacon Cheddar, Sriracha Portobello Veggie, Dippin’ Chicken, White Spot Club, Fish and Chips and Original Beef Dip as options complete with the boat, a gold coin, ice cream and a drink.

Definitely go early for Pirate Pak Day, or expect a bit of a wait – just something to be mindful, especially if you’re coming with kids. They also have the option of ordering online and picking up if you don’t want to wait – that way you can set a time to pick up your Pirate Pak.

While you’re waiting for your meal, you can also use their White Spot app which brings their colouring paper and the Pirate Pak to life via Smartlenz technology (ie, augmented reality). It’s really cute and I love sharing it with my little niece and nephew!

White Spot is Canada’s longest-running restaurant chain, having been in business for 89 years. The first drive-in was located at Granville and 67th.
