Salsa and Agave, the Charles Bar and Chill Winston are other fun pit stops for booze and dinner. I’d have to say the quality of all these places are bang on, the last two are always quite busy. If you want something more relaxed and less pub-like, go to Salsa and Agave.

Josh and myself like going because its near our sky train (Yaletown). And Josh comes from America, where Mexican food is a plenty. He says its hard to come by good kinds here, but he’s a fan of Salsa and Agave.

They’ve always been fast, friendly and the drinks are perfect on their patio on a hot day. Extra props that DQ is near by for a snack afterward.

The Charles Bar is our next favourite. We hands down will always go for their different types of fries. I can’t remember the names too well, but the one loaded with garlic is amazing. I don’t even have to eat much else, the rest is a liquid diet for me. Though, depicted is a pizza my friends devoured.

Last but not least is the Chill Winston. I could review their food yadda, yadda, but check out their hilarious menu. This is the most memorable for me. And their dessert. And their jambalaya. No really, look at their menu. Come in here for a drink, but beware the weekend: they pack up fast.
