Rajio, #TurnOnTheRajio Package by VanEats.ca

It’s great to see VanEats back at it again! They are teaming up with the great people at Rajio again for this package.

The VANEATS package includes:

1. Kushikatsu, Rajio’s House SPECIALTY! Chef’s recommendation of 4 deep fried, panko breaded, bite sized skewers + dipping sauce
2. Bagna Cauda, fresh veggies with an incredible dipping sauce made from garlic, anchovy, olive oil and sweet Japanese white miso. A refreshing twist on an Italian classic and do not be fooled by the anchovies!
3. VANEATS Sashimi Salad, Chef’s omakase sashimi with crisp romaine lettuce tossed in kalamata olive soya dressing topped with tobiko
4. Heavenly Ebi Ramen, BRAND NEW! Tender ramen in deep-golden shrimp broth, embellished with slices of cha-shu pork & shrimp infused garlic oil

Bagna Cauda – An interesting appetizer to start off with- some raw veggies served with an anchovy-cream based dip. The dip is delicious, slightly salty and nice and rich. It doesnt look like much, but between the both of us, we couldnt finish it.

VANEATS Sashimi salad. This dish is so delicious! It’s got a lot of lively flavour to it from the dressing and complimented with bite sized pieces of sashimi.

Kushikatsu. Our set came with taro, cheese, beef and chicken. The beef and chicken were nice and tender. The cheese- oh man, the cheese. So deliciously gooey! Deep fried cheese gets the stamp of approval in my books, but we all know how I feel about deep fried goods.

Heavenly Ebi Ramen. A single person serving, the ramen is a nice milky and slightly fishy tasting broth. Brian really enjoyed this dish, the noodles were done perfectly.

I think for one person, this might be a lot- but between two people, you might want to add a couple dishes to tie you over.

Here are some of the dishes we love at Rajio and what we ordered (over ordered, might I add): Corn Karaage, Ebi Mayo, Tako Wasabi and their Stone Bowl Rice!

Also this watermelon drink was refreshing and delicious! You can have it with or without alcohol – check it out while it’s still around!

For the price and the amount of food you receive with this package, I’d definitely recommend purchasing this deal! If you havent been to Rajio, this is the perfect introduction!
