Yaletown may have it’s share of cafes but never a mix of cafe and bakery like Small Victory. This shop has a cool aesthetic to it with it’s marble counter tops, hexagonal plates and gold trim. The pastries are baked in house in the open kitchen, just like your coffee.
Their matcha is fantastic – I prefer my matcha not too sweet and Small Victory delivers with a nice hint of sweetness and roasted flavour.
Their chocolate croissants are also worth mentioning, as they are buttery, soft but flaky. Very enjoyable.
Small Victory has a great atmosphere and is perfect for meetings or spending a couple hours catching up on work.
