Tableau has the best brunch hands down. Their dinner is pretty good too. I was expecting a small portioned, fancy meal but I’ve been stuffed to the brim each time I’ve come here.
We got a basket of pastries. My friends got mushroom on toast, which is fried egg, creamy mushrooms, toasted brioche. Josh got the special of the day, which had some shaved ribs in it. I got the Grand Tableau, depicted below. I got it with two poached eggs. It’s the classic breakfast with bacon, sausage, honey ham & potatoes.
For dinner, we got the seafood platter. (Just the tableau version) We were beyond full when we finished, though we ordered a main. It comes with everything: shrimp, baked steelhead, fish cakes, oysters, mussels, calamari. I also got the clam chowder below which is loaded with seafood. We topped off all our food with gratuitous cocktails. I had 1181. It’s a cocktail of gin, elderflower syrup, lemonade, sparkling wine. I had the Mai Tai after which is cuban rum, jamaican rum, orgeat, cointreau.
5/5 !
