I came to Tandoori Flame for dinner and lunch in the recent weeks. I’ve passed this a couple times in the last couple months but haven’t had the chance to check it out till now. Tandoori Flame is an East Indian buffet and is massive – so massive that it is the largest Indian buffet in North America. There are over 100 items you can try at the buffet.

This isn’t your regular buffet either, the intricacies of the decor and the space reminded me a lot of the caliber that Las Vegas would produce.

In terms of what’s available , there’s a whole lot. There’s the staples like butter chicken, naan, pakoras, palak paneer.

But they also have different types of curries (and made for different types of diets) and stews, pizzas, a salad bar, chutney bar, an entire sweets bar that are a good mix of cultural desserts and a whole lotta ice cream (including soft serve!).

There’s a kid station that is basically all fried items like sweet potato chips, french fries, onion rings, veggie spring rolls and Aloo Tikki.

Drinks you’ll order at your table and they have an assortment of specialized drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). During our dinner experience, our server was hard to track down and bring us our drinks in a timely manner – our lunch experience was much better as our server was fairly attentive.

It’s much cheaper to visit during lunch and during Mondays-Thursdays. During lunch, the menu doesn’t change – you can still get everything off the dinner menu, so best to come during lunch.

At the time of writing, Lunch for Adults is $17.99 Mon-Fri, $23.99 Sat-Sun, Dinner $23.99 Mon-Thurs, $27.99 Fri-Sun. Kids 3-11 is $12.99 regardless of Lunch, dinner or date. Kids below 3 are $2.99 regardless of lunch, dinner or date.

I would definitely come back here with a group of friends. I would say that you’d enjoy Tandoori Flame if you love Indian food, but I think you’d enjoy it a lot more if you were more on the adventurous side as well with different items you won’t find at any other buffet (ie, goat curry). Both times we visited, we came with kids and for the most part, there aren’t too many items outside of the kids items that they can enjoy – especially if your kids don’t like spicy food.
