Chef Alvin Pillay of Blackbird and Chef Nathan Lowey of Campagnolo will be accompanied by two aspiring chefs who will go head to head in a friendly competition. You can vote on who you think will win (that’s Team Pillay or Team Lowey) using the hashtag #VFMProAm.
The winner will receive gift certificates to both Blackbird and Campagnolo restaurants. The teams will be required to use three main ingredients in their dishes and must yield samples for judges to try.
Today is the last day to enter – all you have to do is let Vancouver Farmer’s Market know what your favourite dish is and what team you’d like to join using the hashtag #VFMProAm.
Yours truly will be a judge at the event, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they come up with! Judging will be based on creativity, presentation and flavour.
