If there is one buffet that is geared towards a mix of foodies and people who love seafood, it would be Bacchanal Buffet. Bacchanal Buffet is located in Caesars Palace, tucked away from the casino and shops.

Definitely one of the more high end ones, you’re looking to spend $65 for a dinner buffet (at time of writing). If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the money, it will greatly depend on what you enjoy. If you’re in it for the seafood, I’d say you’d get your money’s worth here for sure. Even if you’re not really about the seafood, there are so many stations and dishes that you can enjoy here.

There are two lines when you get to the buffet- one to pay and one to wait for a seat. The pay line can get really long if you arrive after 6pm. Liane and I arrived at 5:30 and there was a long line to wait for seats, but we were seated pretty quickly. After you pay, there is a photographer that takes your photo before you move into the wait line – kinda kitschy but I get it.

The dining area is nice and comfortable, the colours are muted so it makes it feel like a welcoming and beautiful space.

The food area is split up into different themes – the very back was Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, hot seafood, salad bar, a carvery area and of course, the seafood section. The dessert section is located on it’s own in the middle of the dining area.

Get them crab legs!

What was most notable about the buffet is not just the sheer amount of food available, but the fact that the food is of higher quality than many of the other hotel buffets. While there are many dishes that you’ll be able to find at other buffets, I’d say the quality of these dishes are far higher than the others.

I also liked that everything was well stocked and they kept each station clean – it’s not a big deal for people but the attention to the small things are what set great places apart from the rest.

If you are going to check it out, I do recommend checking out the dinner buffet. If you can go during the middle of the week, it’s a little cheaper as well. I do recommend checking this buffet out if you’re a fan of buffets but want a more elevated experience, or if you like seafood!

Our server came to our table twice: once to ask what we wanted to drink and then with our drinks, we didn’t see him again to ask for our refills.
