Prior to the party, I arrived a little early to check out some of the vendors. If you’re looking to renovate or are rebuilding your home, this is probably a good place to meet people in the industry. There are so many booths here ranging from bathroom fixtures, tiling, hot tubs, steam showers, interior design, furniture and so on, you could spend an entire day here learning from the best.
And if it really isnt your thing and you get dragged along to the show, fear not food lovers. There is a Twinings Tea Garden inspired by England, where you can sample their latest offerings. There is also the Urban Fare Cooking Stage where you can learn a multitude of topics from the experts including Bittered Slings, Modern Indian Cuisine from Chef Vikram Vij himself and even grilling tips since bbq season is coming up soon!
Urban Fare has a large area near the BC Living Lounge too, which is perfect if you get hungry. They have sample stations including one that was sampling Truffled Hummus…which was one of the highlights of my evening! I’m going to have to make a trip again to grab some!
The BC Home and Garden Show runs until Sunday, you can buy tickets cheaper online on their website here.
Please note I was invited to the Media Event and I was not paid or obligated to write this post, all opinions are my own.
